An investment today and a commitment to a low carbon future
Local heating company unveils its plans for a Renewable Heating Centre
Why
We all know that the world is in a climate emergency and we all recognise that the solution lies in each of us doing our bit to lower our impact on the environment. Our aim at Ashburn is to help individuals cut through the confusion and understand how their heating choices can help NOW – renewable heating systems are a reality TODAY.
What
Ashburn have been established since 2013, when Bruce Mills of ‘Dales Heating’ and Fiona Imlach a property management expert joined forces to start Ashburn Stoves … now evolved into Ashburn Stoves & Heating and employing ten people in an old Victorian mill in Earby near Skipton.
The company has grown rapidly, recognising the need to make its services more visible and encourage people to have the confidence to find out more; in a comfortable, relaxed venue offering information, confidence and advice.
Our new home
Ashburn have acquired the Old Moorcock Inn above Blacko, between Barrowford and Gisburn on the A682. This extensive property will serve a number of uses ensuring it has a sustainable future and retains links to the local community. A large showroom for renewable heating systems and Log Stoves, workshops and warehousing to serve the engineering business and a large licensed Country Café.
When
Ashburn are hoping to complete an extensive refurbishment project and relocation from Victoria Mill in Earby by late May or early June 2020.
